Marquel Ellis 16, Allen High School football player shot and killed at a house party in Plano

Marquel Ellis 16, an Allen Eagle High School football player in Plano, was shot and killed.

The incident happened Saturday night at the 3200 block of Peachtree Lane.

The 16-year-old was taken to the local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Plano PD did not release the teen name but Allen ISD identified the teen as Marquel Ellis in a statement:

“We were notified earlier today of the tragic incident that took the life of Marquel Ellis, Jr.  Marquel was a sophomore at Allen High School.  The school has arranged for counselors to be available for students and staff on Monday morning.”

Sources say, a party was going on in a home and a group got kicked out and returned with gunfire. No one else was injured.

Police said they have not yet identified any suspects.

Police are now investigating the death of a man near the 9000 block of N. Normandale St. in Fort Worth, TX.

The body was found around 12:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Name of the victim has not been released and the medical examiner’s officer working on the cause of death.

Brandon Gonzales got the Hell out of Town, Moved to Florida.

Brandon Gonzales who was mistakenly accused of killing two party-goers in a shooting in Greenville has moved to Florida.

Brandon was arrested for the shooting on Oct. 26, He was released Nov. 5. As of yet, no arrest made in connection with the shooting.

According to NBCDFW Gonzales, 23, went to an interview Monday for a job at a warehouse in Florida, he said the interviewer told him: Let’s wait a year to let this settle down.
